Mike Bowers~ Vocals & Rythum Guitar Mike
played in his first country band at the age of 16. This band will remain nameless just in case someone is still alive that
heard them play! It wasn't good! After a few years of practice, at age 26, Mike put together a band of local players and
started playing weekends at local bars and clubs. After many years and many different musicians Mike took his then Flatland
Band out on the road in the mid-90's working for the Cal Stevens Agency in Las Vegas, NV. The Flatland Band played in
Wyoming, New Mexico, Nebraska, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma & Nevada. Opening for Earl Thomas Conley,
Martin DelRay, and Tim Ryan. Mike enjoys playing with The Whiskey Moon Band because of the quality of the musicians
and the common goals of all the members. It is also very rewarding to be able to play in this band with his son Jake Bowers!
Jake Bowers~ Vocals & Rythum Guitar Jake
is the youngest member of The Whiskey Moon Band. He is what the other band members refer to as the bands eye candy! Jake
brings a young and fresh energy to the band. Jake's love of Red Dirt Country music has added a another dimension
to an already musically diverse band. Jake loves playing with the band but believes that his dad only lets him play so that
he will know where he is every Friday and Saturday night!
The band would like to thank all their faithfull
supporters that come out to hear them play every weekend. Your the reason we are able to do what we do!
